Live rosin and live resin retain more of the natural plant terpenes and full-spectrum of cannabinoids which are directly responsible for the mind/body effects of cannabis. Those elements provide a more full-flavored expression of the cannabis plant.
What we’re doing at MFNY is preserving the elements of the plant that can often get lost in extraction processes. That’s why you’ll see companies add lots of flavors and terpenes back to their gummies and vape pens.
What Makes It Live?
Because we harvest the plant and take it directly to the freezer to flash freeze it, we retain all the goodness that would otherwise get lost in the process.
What’s the Difference Between “Rosin” and “Resin”?
The two words look almost the same because there’s only a minor difference. We extract live resin with butane; and with live rosin we use ice and water.
